Odds Farm Park is a popular destination for families in Bucks, Berks, NW London and likely beyond. It combines farm animals, extensive indoor and outdoor play options and other attractions to make for a full trip out.
If you go into the woods at Wendover, you’ll find no end of ways to experience nature. Located amongst some of the best of the Chilterns scenery, it’s 45 mins from London by train but otherwise a world away from the bustle of the city. A recent addition has been the Gruffalo and his friends, to mark the 15th anniversary of the book. A special themed trail takes fans of the book through a number of activities in the wood, however time is running out as the special trail closes at the end of September.
Nestling amongst immaculately landscaped grounds in the Vale of Aylesbury in Buckinghamshire is Waddesdon Manor, one of the National Trust properties local to us that host a whole host of events throughout the year. Attracting us this August weekend was a combination of treats: Roman reenactment by the Ermine Street Guard, a birds of prey display and a late Roman mosaic. Throw into the mix a playground and there’s the making of an excellent family day out.
