A snowy indoor trail filled with animated animal friends, storybook characters, festive scenes and Darth Vader. Sounds like a winning combination.
Come December and one destination that parents across Buckinghamshire seem to be talking about is the World’s End garden centre near Wendover. It transforms into a Christmas destination, this year with a snow globe experience, Christmas shop. rides, food and craft stalls and most popular of all the Winter Wonderland and Santa’s grotto.
I took Tilly on a weekday to beat the crowds (one advantage of being a stay at home parent). Although not keen on seeing Santa at the moment, who she seems to be finding a curious idea, Tilly was enthusiastic about the Winter Wonderland.
The Winter Wonderland is a covered walk full of animals and characters, many of them animated, which was just the sort of thing that delights Tilly. Here are some highlights from our visit:
